Carhenge!

Taking a trip to CARHENGE requires taking a trip to northwestern Nebraska (it's just outside Alliance, Neb.), which is what we did over Labor Day weekend 2010.

We saw lots of Americana (above) and, of course, CARHENGE: a faithful recreation (it functions as a celestial calendar, just like the real thing) of England's Stonehenge. We loved it!

My feeling is that someday CARHENGE will seem even more incredible than Stongehenge - to the aliens trying to understand them, anyway.
