Mother's Day 2007

We had a lovely Mother's Day. After rising at our typical 5:45 (!?@?#?#$@!!), Jackson and Ben gave Buzzy some lovely cards and presents and then we headed out to breakfast at one of our favorite joints, the Southside Walnut Cafe in Boulder. As you might expect, we arrived before the Mother's Day brunching rush and had a great breakfast of blueberry cornmeal pancakes - yum! Jackson may not look too happy in this shot, but that's just because he wanted to get OUT of his chair and explore the restaurant. He subsequently did just that. Afterward, we went to Boulder Creek and frolicked in the water. A perfect Mother's Day, in this mother's opinion.
