Verdant Vermont, Part 3: Bread and Puppets

We took a long-awaited trip to see the pageantry of Bread and Puppets,
the legendary anti-establishment theater/commune in Glover, Vermont.
We were not disappointed.

B&P's Cheap Art Store, permanently parked across the street from the theater.
Some of B&P's famous puppets, on display in their museum/barn.

Jackson was a little overwhelmed by the show itself
(a comedy of morals warning of the dangers of electronic voting machines... you kind of had to be there) but there was plenty to see on the B&P grounds.

Characteristically awesome handpainted B&P signage.
Dmitri, Jackson, and Jack (jumping) after the show.

Thanks, Bread and Puppets, for restoring our faith in anti-capitalistic community art projects
Solidarity!
